CHAPTER 1: EDUCATION - How much education do you expect to have before you get your first full time job? What school? At what cost? Students who plan on a going to college will, most likely, have to pay back student loans. The student should speak with their parent and estimate what they think they will be asked to pay for these loans (for this project, parents may only pay up to 50% of the total cost). Students may also research the national average for student loans. Students should set up a monthly loan payment plan to include in their budget. If you plan to go immediately into the workforce or military with no further education, explain why this option if best for you and what qualities you will bring to your employer.

Remember, for this project parents can only pay for up to 50% of college costs; scholarships and appointments to military academies can only be used if you provide proof that you have actually qualified).   • Estimate your student loan amount or the national average and set up a payment plan in your budget.

Include printouts of specific pages from your chosen school which support why this is the correct choice for you, highlighting key information: requirements for your major; tuition, room, board, books, any other costs.
